Meem by GIB is a self-served digital bank offered by Gulf International Bank in Saudi Arabia. In mid-2017, I had a job interview at meem for a UI / UX designer post. Towards the end of the interview, I was given an exercise to design a section for the app which allows paying bills to different utility providers. The design direction I took maintains the fonts and color scheme of the meem brand. However –compared to the older app design– the proposed interfaces take a simpler and lighter approach.

A form appears in the second step of the registration. The fields of each form should be designed according to the specific biller’s requirements, and to complete the registration, an authentication step must be required.

Once the user has registered a biller, the screen coming from the slider menu will last all registered billers with the ability to select/de-select bills to pay.
